Ron Repmann
Ronald Repmann has been a Bridgewater resident for 33 years residing at 49 Claire Drive. His two sons attended and graduated from Bridgewater-Raritan schools. Ron is a United States Air Force veteran and he attended Kean University. He has also completed personal development courses offered by the University of San Diego. Ron is a certified Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) instructor in safety and health. He is a member of AMVETS and the American Legion. He also participated as a team leader for Rebuilding Together and coached and managed Bridgewater Baseball teams.
Ron is currently semi-retired. He was a member of the Ironworkers Union and president of the Elizabeth local. Ron served as training coordinator for the Ironworker Northern District Council of New Jersey and he was in charge of recruitment, training, safety and skill upgrades. While in this position, he worked along with the New Jersey Department of Labor, advising and implementing many of the state’s Women and Minorities Job Programs. Ron was also a consultant for the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) in the Study for Safety and Health Effects in the Workplace. Ron feels his experience with both the state and federal grant processes will help him in serving the residents of Bridgewater Township. His strong background in construction also will aid in making cost saving decisions as they relate to the upkeep and improvements of the township’s infrastructure.
